Enerex DIGEST BEST is a full spectrum enzyme blend that enhances the digestion and assimilation of food by helping to break down every type of food group: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, dairy, plant and vegetable material (cellulose). Digest Best is designed as a replacement for the enzymes lost in the cooking and processing of food, and is intended for those who want to fully benefit from the nutrients in the foods they consume. The addition of Betaine HCl helps with indigestion, L-Glutamine helps repair and soothe the digestive tract, and DPP IV Protease breaks down gluten and casein – the common culprits for those with wheat and dairy intolerance.

Plant Enzyme Blend:

✔Amylase: breaks down and digests carbohydrates such as starch and glycogen, contained in potatoes, fruits, vegetables, and many snack foods. Amylase is important in combination with other digestive enzymes to prevent the proliferation of dead leukocytes (white blood cells).

✔Protease SP: is a mixture of acid, neutral, and alkaline Proteases. Protease SP has an effective pH range of 2.0-6.0 to provide protein digestion in the stomach and the pyloric region of the small intestine. Protease is capable of breaking down proteins found in meat, cheese, nuts, and eggs. Assists in alleviating infection and inflammatory conditions of many kinds.

✔Maltase: helps to break down maltose, malt, and other complex and simple sugars found in grains.

✔Invertase: further breaks down and digests carbohydrates, starches, and sugars; in particular, maltose sugar and polysaccharides. It specifically targets sucrose to make fructose and glucose.

✔Cellulase: breaks down cellulose and chitin; helps to break down the soluble parts of fibre contained in raw fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Cellulase is not made in the body and can only be obtained from our food or supplements.

✔Alpha-Galactosidase: aids in the digestion of complex sugars found in whole grains, beans, legumes, and cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. Helps to eliminate intestinal fermentation (bloating, cramping, and gas) by the breakdown of these carbohydrates before they reach the lower intestine.

✔Lipase: powerful fat digesting enzyme. Lipase breaks down fats such as those found in meats, dairy, oils, nuts, and seeds. Assists in weight management and circulatory function.

✔Lactase: a potent enzyme specifically designed to break down and digest dairy products as well as their accompanying factors such as lactose (milk sugar) and casein (milk protein). Helps to ease or eliminate “lactose or dairy intolerance” issues such as gas, bloating, cramping, indigestion, and diarrhea.

✔Peptidase: helps break down proteins into amino acids.

✔Protease DPP IV (dipeptidyl peptidase): an enzyme activity required to break down the peptide sequences linked to the exacerbation of conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, and Celiac Disease. DPP IV degrades the difficult protein residues in gluten and in casein making it essential for individuals with difficulty digesting gluten and casein containing foods.

Betaine HCl:
