Enerex FAQ – Serrapeptase

What is Serrapeptase?

Serrapeptase is a highly effective and natural enzyme that removes blockages in your body which might be impeding your health and healing abilities. It’s regularly used to prevent or eliminate chronic pain, minor pain, and other inflammation concerns, like arthritis or sinusitis. If you’re considering a salicylate or ibuprofen based NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), but you’re worried about the long term effects and potential dependencies that come from the use of NSAIDs, you should check with your doctor to find out if Serrapeptase is an acceptable alternative.

Why should I take Serrapeptase?

In clinical studies, Serrapeptase has been shown to break down clots (fibrinolysis), reduce inflammation, and reduce swelling due to fluid retention (edema), but the biggest reason to choose Serrapeptase is to reduce pain. Serrapeptase is able to block the release of pain-inducing amines from inflamed tissues, providing welcome relief to people (and animals) suffering from chronic pain.

What are the side effects of Serrapeptase?

Since Serrapeptase is a natural enzyme, it’s rare to find anyone that has suffered from any side effects or contraindications. As with any supplement or drug, it’s important that you adhere to the recommended dosage as well as follow the conditions on the label.

What is the recommended dosage of Serrapeptase?

Since there are no widely reported side effects with Serrapeptase, there are variations as to the recommended dosage. We’ve consulted with medical professionals to find the right dosage for you, and you’ll find the right dosage on the label of each bottle.

Where can I buy Serrapeptase?

You can buy Serrapeptase all around the world. It’s a very popular anti-inflammatory in many parts of Europe and Asia, and word of mouth is making it very popular here in North America. Here’s a link to the retailers we trust to carry the Enerex brand of Serrapeptase, or if you prefer to buy online, please check out these partners.

What is an enteric coating?

Since Serrapeptase is a delicate enzyme, your stomach acid can actually neutralize or even destroy the active enzyme. To prevent this, we have coated each tablet with a vegetable based enteric coating. Be aware that some other manufactures will state that their active enzyme is “enteric coated” but delivered in a non-enteric tablet. This is not as effective as an enteric coating over the capsule, and you might not be getting any or all of the benefits of the enzyme.

If I’m taking another enzyme, can I still take Serrapeptase?

While there have been no widely reported side effects for those taking Serrapeptase, it’s always a good idea to check with your medical professional before starting a new medication to ensure there are no concerns about your treatment.

Is Serrapeptase good for vegetarians?

Each Serrapeptase capsule is coated with a vegetable based coating to prevent it from being denatured by your stomach acid, and the Serrapeptase enzyme is derived from the bacteria in the intestine of the silkworm larva.

If you’re a vegetarian suffering from pain, inflammation, or many of the different ‘itises (sinusitis, arthritis, etc) – try Enerex Serrapeptase, the Miracle Enzyme.
